At Cardinal Griffin we care about every pupil as an individual

At the heart of our school is our Catholic Ethos. We care about every pupil and have a very strong pastoral system in school which is supplemented by our Chaplaincy.

We have deliberately taken the decision to reduce our entry to 150 pupils in each year group in order to ensure we retain the community feel of a smaller school. On joining the school each pupil is allocated to a House Group and also to a tutor group. If pupils have specific difficulties they want to discuss or need additional pastoral support they can access our mentors who are specifically trained to assist them with their needs.

In October 2013, Behaviour and Safety of our pupils was judged to be "Outstanding" by OfSTED.
